Siegel-Gallagher brightens the forecast for Sunrise Heights apartments with a recent renovation and sale of the property. Congratulations to both Patrick Gallagher and Gordy Welch in this successful transaction.

Patrick Gallagher and Gordy Welch of the Investment team at Siegel-Gallagher, Inc. ONCOR International, recently brokered the sale of Sunrise Heights Apartments, a 192-unit rental complex located in Middleton, Wis.

Siegel-Gallagher assumed management of Sunrise Heights after the complex began foreclosure proceedings in 2006, due in part to outdated infrastructure and lackluster upkeep. With a focus on increasing the property’s appeal, Siegel-Gallagher oversaw $750,000 in strategic capital improvements and was able to increase occupancy by 35% within just nine months. After the lender assumed title of the property in 2007, Gallagher and Welch were called upon to manage its sale. The improved Sunrise Heights elicited substantial investor interest and sold on July 7, 2008, for a sale price in excess of $8 million.
